So here’s the thing: Have you ever seen somebody and instantly thought they must be a stupid person? I know we’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but sometimes it’s just so hard not to. I was in Comcast yesterday picking up an internet modem and while I was sitting there waiting my turn out of a thousand people, these two ladies came through the entrance. I know I’m not supposed to judge this book, but if I WERE to judge……..the cover of this book looked really, really stupid. The ladies went up to the guy who was greeting everybody and checking them in for their hour long wait to be helped. One of the ladies was holding a cable box and said to the gentleman “I have to return this box, it ain’t got no batteries” The gentleman said while pointing at the cable hanging off the box “That is the power cord you plug into the wall, it doesn’t take batteries” The women said okay and left. I don’t judge books by the cover, but some books are as stupid as they look.
